so what have you guys done to mess with people in the outposts? given the recent duping incidents, i like posting in trade channels that i'm selling a mini kanaxai or selling armbraces of truth. and then i leave.

recently, i inadvertently undercut someone running a mission. i was running a guildmate of mine and decided to bring a long some customers. i didn't get any takers so i just ran him, but apparently this other person who was also running didn't take too kindly that i had undercut him. mind you, i was advertising for 500g less than he was, and i started advertising once i zoned into the mission area, so there's no way i knew what people were charging. the other runner just kept asking me why i would do such a thing and that people like me are the ones who ruin the game. despite the fact that i was only running my guildmate, i told him that i had a full complement and that he's probably still standing there looking for fares. and of course, i was right since he was still standing there looking for fares when i finished the run.

I used to go to HA and advertise in the trade channel:
WTS FACTION COME HAVE A LOOK!!!

and people would threaten to report me for hacking and get angry then they would come open a trade window and then change their tune. I accumulated a lot of Flames of Balthazar in the factions preview event as my way of achieving UAX for my whole guild before pvp editions were released. Each one gave 1000 Balthazar faction. It was fun selling those

Some people's reactions were priceless, especially the ones threatening me until I linked them to the guild wiki page about them.

Heh during Wintersday I would ask to buy 100's of frozen ectoplasms or whatever it was you needed and get the people to stand on my side so I could get the Grenths horns because there were always Lyssa's greifers around. I always paid though.

I remember telling people who asked how to unfreeze the frozen ectoplasms that they had to throw the Frozen Ectos into Abaddon's Mouth. (ie. LotR, Mount Doom)
